Austen Bradley
Managing Director
Austen is a Chartered Engineer and is the founder and Managing
Director of
GEMNutrition Ltd.
Mr Bradley graduated with a BEng (Hons) in
Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College, London and gaining an
MSc at Manchester University researching and presenting a thesis on
the design and development of Indirect Calorimetry. During this
period he worked in conjunction with Europa Scientific Ltd to design
the original GEM Indirect Calorimeter.
In 1998 Austen founded NutrEn Technology Ltd to sell
and support the GEM medical Indirect Calorimeter. Austen has since
formed GEMNutrition to maintain the support and calibration service
for the GEM medical Indirect Calorimeter
In 2004 he was voted one of the NW Insider magazine’s
42 under 42 in the Class of 2004.
